I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Animal Science at UC Davis. I completed my PhD in Evolution, Ecology, and Organismal Biology at the University of California Riverside in 2018, and completed my postdoctoral training in Metabolism and Pathology at Stanford University in 2024.

In college, I chose to major in Life Sciences with the belief that by learning more about the organisms in the ecosystem, we could better understand our world and ourselves. Since then, my scientific career has been devoted to understanding the behavioral and physiological adaptations in response to environmental challenges.

Besides doing science, I also like hiking, reading, and enjoying good food with friends.

Thank you for visiting, and welcome!
